Moisture and rust prevention
In rainy areas in the south, it is necessary to strengthen the moisture prevention of the units and regularly dry electrical components (such as controllers and generator coils) to avoid short circuits or corrosion.
Check the anti rust coating of metal components (such as battery terminals and radiators) and apply anti rust paint if necessary.
Maintenance of filtration system
Replace the air filter: In spring, there is an increase in pollen and willow catkins, and the replacement cycle needs to be shortened (it is recommended to check every 200 hours).
Cleaning fuel filter: Impurities accumulated in winter need to be thoroughly cleaned to prevent fuel system blockage.
Battery performance testing
Measure the battery voltage (normally ≥ 12.6V), clean the terminals and apply Vaseline to prevent oxidation.
Perform load testing on aged batteries (used for over 3 years) to ensure sufficient starting current.
Start system preheating
The preheating device function still needs to be maintained in northern regions to avoid start-up difficulties caused by low temperatures in spring.
